One of these days I hope to be able to get Points East out to you on time. Junior PE and Mapping Corner were with me ahead of time, and I had a number of letters plus the results of the EA round of the Junior Team Competition, now called the Yvette Baker Trophy. Then I telephoned and e-mailed and waited for the rest of the regular features to arrive. When the final article arrived 10 days before Christmas, it could not be fitted into the single page that had been assigned to it and that necessitated a whole restructuring of Points East, which can only be done at the weekend, so here I am on 19 December still working on Points East - and I still have to get it printed, stuffed and posted in December. Sorry to have kept you waiting - really not my fault this time (ed).
Please note that in future the copy date for Points East will be the EAOA Committee meeting: 21 January 2000 for February 2000 PE.
